Brand Operations - Internship 


Role Summary

The General Brand Intern is a dynamic and motivated individual who provides essential administrative, logistical, and content support across the entire organization. This role is a foundation for understanding the business operations of a fashion and lifestyle brand, touching on everything from order fulfillment to social media asset management.

Key Responsibilities

1. Administrative & Operations Support 

  • Office Management: Maintain general office organization, ensuring supply inventory is managed (ordering, restocking), and communal spaces are tidy and functional.

  • Mail & Logistics: Handle all incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and couriers. Prepare shipping labels and coordinate domestic and international sample shipments, tracking packages to ensure timely delivery.

  • Documentation: Assist with digital and physical filing, scanning, copying, and basic data entry tasks. Maintain and update contact lists, vendor databases, and internal calendars.

  • Meeting Support: Prepare meeting rooms, manage simple calendar scheduling, and assist with preparing basic presentations or meeting notes.

  • Travel & Expenses: Assist with simple expense report compilation and support basic travel booking logistics as needed.

2. Marketing & Content Support 

  • Social Media Asset Management: Organize and tag all photo and video assets (including the new documentary footage) in the shared drive for easy access by the marketing team.

  • Basic Research: Conduct market research on emerging fashion/lifestyle trends, competitor content strategies, and relevant industry influencers/media outlets.

  • Content Assistance: Assist in drafting, scheduling, and proofreading basic social media copy and captions across Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn.

  • Visual Prep: Assist with steaming, tagging, and organizing samples and garments for internal photo shoots, showroom display, or press pulls.

  • Digital Prep: Crop, re-size, and upload digital images/videos to e-commerce or website back-ends as required.

3. Stock & Showroom Support 

  • Sample Management: Receive, log, tag, and meticulously organize all incoming and outgoing samples and prototypes, ensuring the showroom/sample closet is always up-to-date.

  • Order Fulfillment: Provide assistance with preparing packaging, processing simple e-commerce orders, and ensuring correct items and marketing inserts are included.

 


 

III. Required Qualifications & Skills

Essential:

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in Business, Communications, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field.

  • Highly Organized: Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meticulously manage multiple tasks and competing deadlines.

  • Proficiency: Fluent in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) or Google Workspace, with a strong ability to manage spreadsheets for tracking inventory and data.

  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; professional demeanor for external vendor and client contact.

  • Proactive Attitude: A self-starter who is eager to learn and take ownership of tasks, understanding that no task is too small.


Desirable:

  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., basic cropping/resizing in Photoshop or Lightroom).

  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello) or basic e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify).

  • A demonstrated passion for the brand's aesthetic and core values.
